At Sunio One, we are committed to conducting business ethically, responsibly, and sustainably. We expect our suppliers, contractors, and business partners (“Suppliers”) to uphold the same standards in their operations. This Supplier Code of Conduct (“Code”) outlines our expectations and requirements for Suppliers.

1. Compliance with Laws and Regulations
Suppliers must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations, including but not limited to:

  • Labor Laws: Adherence to laws governing wages, working hours, and conditions.
  • Environmental Regulations: Compliance with environmental protection laws.
  • Anti-Corruption Laws: Observance of laws prohibiting bribery, corruption, and other unethical practices.

2. Human Rights and Labor Standards
Suppliers are expected to respect and uphold human rights and labor standards, including:

  • No Forced or Child Labor: Prohibition of any form of forced, bonded, or child labor.
  • Non-Discrimination: Equal treatment of all employees without discrimination.
  • Freedom of Association: Respect for employees’ rights to associate freely and bargain collectively.

3. Health and Safety
Suppliers must provide a safe and healthy working environment, ensuring:

  • Workplace Safety: Implementation of safety measures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Establishment of procedures for emergencies and accidents.
  • Health Standards: Access to clean facilities and potable water for all employees.

4. Environmental Responsibility
Suppliers should minimize their environmental impact by:

  • Resource Management: Efficient use of resources and reduction of waste.
  • Pollution Prevention: Measures to prevent pollution and manage hazardous materials responsibly.
  • Sustainability Practices: Adoption of sustainable practices in operations and sourcing.

5. Ethical Business Practices
Suppliers are expected to conduct business ethically, including:

  • Anti-Bribery and Corruption: Zero tolerance for bribery, corruption, or unethical practices.
  • Fair Competition: Engagement in fair and lawful competition.
  • Conflict of Interest: Disclosure of any potential conflicts of interest.

6. Data Protection and Confidentiality
Suppliers must protect confidential information and comply with data protection laws, ensuring:

  • Data Security: Implementation of measures to safeguard personal and sensitive data.
  • Confidentiality: Respect for the confidentiality of Sunio One’s and clients’ information.

7. Monitoring and Compliance
Sunio One reserves the right to monitor compliance with this Code through:

  • Audits and Assessments: Conducting audits or assessments as necessary.
  • Corrective Actions: Requiring corrective actions for any non-compliance identified.
  • Termination of Relationship: Terminating the business relationship in cases of serious or repeated non-compliance.

8. Reporting Concerns
Suppliers and their employees are encouraged to report any concerns or violations of this Code. Reports can be made confidentially to:

9. Acknowledgment
Suppliers are required to acknowledge and agree to comply with this Code. This acknowledgment should be documented and maintained as part of the supplier’s records.
